Anyone have anything else they would like to add to the list?
Mine would be: Equipment - see if the new pony comes with anything to get started and ask about the saddle size and brand being used currently and the bit being used currently. You and your trainer can change out the equipment, but get a good starting point. We had a tough time initially fitting our pony with a saddle.
